Is there a “demo version?”

No, there is not a “demo” version. You can, however, purchase a 30-day time-limited version of ChimneySweep® Traditional Edition, which is fully-functional in every way except that it is subject to the time-limit. The full purchase price of this Edition can then be applied, anytime within that 30-day period, as a credit toward the purchase of a full, unrestricted version of Traditional or Professional Edition.

The reason for this is simple:   it simply isn't possible to create a “limited demo” of a product like this, nor can you reasonably expect to obtain a fair determination of how our product will work for you from such a “hobbled horse.” So, it's never hobbled:   a time-limited version of the product has no restrictions except for the time limit. Is there a “money-back guarantee?”

No, there is no such guarantee.

Although this statement may, shall we say, “come as a bit of a surprise to you,” we say it very deliberately.

Let's face it:   you might find yourself in a very awkward, very vulnerable situation right now.   We understand.   (In fact, we were in a very similar situation when we built ChimneySweep, originally for our own in-house use, more than ten years ago.)   As much as we, as good capitalistic businessmen, might like to “make a sale” by promising you some kind of miracle, we don't want your money if you are hoping for what our product cannot give.   It is much more important for us to establish realistic expectations for what our product (or any product of this nature) can be expected to do, than to merely “make a sale” that you might soon regret.  

We have great confidence in our product.   It has helped a lot of people, and we are very proud of that.   But... will it do what you need it to do, right now, in your particular case?   We have no way to know, and we will not tell you otherwise!   The odds are certainly favorable, but there can be no “guarantees.”   (Here is where we say more about this subject.)


How can I pay for it, and how do you deliver it?

Payment at our on-line store can be tendered using any form of payment that PayPal® accepts, including any major credit-card, PayPal accounts, and e-checks. We accept payment only by this means:   we do not accept purchase-orders, paper checks, or any other form of payment. Our third-party distributors, however, may accept other forms of payment.

All prices quoted are in United States Dollars, exclusive of sales-taxes, VAT, or other taxes which may be applicable to your purchase. These taxes will be automatically calculated by the store software. Currency-exchange is also handled automatically, so that you will see the current price in your own currency and can pay in your own currency.

Delivery is always immediate and electronic. We do not ship CD's or diskettes. You will receive an e-mail containing a secure download location and an unlock-code within at most a few minutes. Once you receive this e-mail, simply follow the directions provided to download the installer. Then, execute the installer to install the product. During the installation process, you'll be prompted to enter the unlock-code that was provided as part of that e-mail. Once this code has been entered and validated, product installation is complete.

The e-mail message serves as your receipt and proof of purchase. Please print and keep this information in a safe place, as you will need it anytime you install or reinstall the product.

If you do not receive your e-mail “within a few minutes,” at any of the e-mail addresses you used in your order, please inquire at once. The order fulfillment process is completely automatic, but technical problems do occasionally happen.
