We can provide effective project-management services, coordinating the efforts of on-site and off-site vendors, providing independent quality assurance, acceptance and validation testing, and assisting where possible in the diagnosis of technical issues. Within the United States, we can provide periodic on-site services, as well.
One of the most important and most often repeated assessments of computer software practice is that projects lack “a far-sighted continuous presence at the wheel of the ship,” that is, until that “ship” runs perilously close to the rocks and panic sets in. Good project management is ... good project management ... no matter what the project is, no matter what languages and tools are being used, and so on. Definite guidelines and milestones are established, and reviewed every day. Progress is measured against those milestones, not the clock.
