Runtime Edition is a special-purpose Edition which serves two specific (and disjoint) purposes:
- If you want to supply ChimneySweep jobs to your customers, inexpensively, and you also want to ensure that they cannot alter them, then this is the proper edition for you. (Quantity discounts are available.)
- If you are a Professional Edition licensee, each computer upon which you intend to execute your embedded ChimneySweep functionality must have a ChimneySweep Runtime Edition license-code installed. (We provide you with a customized installer by which you may do so.)
- Other alternatives for Professional Edition licensees do exist, including "absolutely-blanket licenses" which are separately and individually negotiated.
