So, how do we do it?

We build websites on a three-layered technology which is based entirely on computer programming. We build upon a "CMS = Content Management System" technology, called Wagtail, which is built upon a website framework called Django, which is built upon Python.

So, what does this mean? Flexibility. Your website can be a seamless merging of all three.

In the "traditional" CMS approach, the "CMS" is the full extent of the technical resources that you have available. Also, the alternatives that you have are defined within that over-arching framework. A framework which is not within your control.

"Actual business websites" exist beyond these limited parameters. In the real world, there are portions which exist within this framework, and entire sections which do not. This demands integration between the "CMS" and "non-CMS" concerns.

This issue of "integration" is of particular interest to us, because many companies find themselves bound to "legacy" websites which provide part of the functionality which they now cannot do without. The HTML <iframe> tag provides a solution. However, it still requires careful design.
